I've decidee the easiest thing all around (since I am no website expert) is to have an online store on the etsy website.  That way I can add ornaments and organize them in sections and take advantage of their connections to paypal without having to build those things myself.  I still like the idea of having my own site for posting notes and adding favorite links and things like that but the hassle of a storefront is just beyond me.
